GBE Designs Ltd. was spun out of GBE and incorporated in 2005 due to GBE’s successful expansion into the electronic product design market which started in 2003. GBE Designs offers an advice and consultancy service on all aspects of product design and production. This includes a complete, one-stop ‘turn-key’ service that sees your product from the initial concept stage through to production on any scale. Any part of the design cycle can be ‘cherry-picked’ from any of our areas of expertise.

GBE Designs can develop a design from the initial spark of an idea, optimise an existing design, essential for cost-effective production or in case of component obsolescence, or work to customer-supplied specifications. GBE Designs has also been involved in redesign of products to achieve compliance to certain industry standards, including RoHS and EMC.

GBE Designs are specialists in smart embedded firmware design. With experience in innovative design solution and programming, in a wide range of applications, we have consistently achieved success. Our experience extends to working with Linux, Windows and Mac, as well as other commercial and proprietary operating systems specialized for embedded systems. Our team thrives on highly challenging and demanding remits and we have successfully demonstrated our incisive abilities in this field.

GBE Designs are a Certified Associate Developer for National Instruments’ LabVIEW™ graphical programming system. This includes full hardware system design and integration with LabVIEW™ for development and test equipment. GBE can also provide full executable release files for production release using LabVIEW™.

We can also prepare documentation and pre-production prototypes ready for volume manufacture by a third party. GBE Designs has built up a portfolio of contacts in the Far East and can therefore offer a volume manufacturing service at Far East prices.
